About Diana Rutschmann
My journey with Feldenkrais
Suffering from rheumatoid arthritis while working as a photographer and artist, I set out in search of solutions that led me to the Feldenkrais Method®. I learned to listen to my body and to inhabit it more fully. The aches and pains went away, my mobility increased and I enjoyed moving again.
Above all, this experience awakened my curiosity to learn more about this method. After years of professional experience as a photographer, artist, photo editor and iconographer, and after the birth of my daughter, I decided to become a Feldenkrais Method® practitioner. I realize every day just how rich and effective it is.
I’ve been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® since 2006.
Over the years, my scope of practice has expanded: I’ve given classes in the sitting position and in 2015, I started giving outcall lessons in various locations around Geneva. I teach Improving Eyesight classes, based on the Feldenkrais Method®, and I’ve been integrating Approche Echo® into my work for people affected by chronic pain.
My approach
I’m passionate about human potential and development. What interests me is living the questions and welcoming the process.
I like to bring both depth and lightness to my classes.

The +
My spine supports me and gives me stability. When it’s balanced and reliable it allows my head, arms and legs to be free, I can act as I wish. I can adapt to the situation at hand, while remaining in touch with who I am, with my whole being. I become more attuned to the relationship between intention and action, between me and my environment. Awareness of the body in movement and exploration of the balance between stability and flexibility, allow me to learn about myself and life in general.
Improvement is here, in life.
