About the method

The Feldenkrais Method® is a rich and profound method: you learn to learn

Neuroscience is now showing what Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984), a physics engineer and high-level martial artist, already demonstrated: that we can learn - regardless of our condition - to use our potential more fully. To live means to be in motion. To breathe means to be in motion. Any movement can be improved, can become better organized, clearer and easier.

The Feldenkrais Method® takes us through an organic learning process. That process is not linear, but the different pieces of the puzzle fit together at one’s own pace. Little by little, your image and awareness of self become richer and clearer.

According to Moshe Feldenkrais, we do not learn by will, but by the attention we pay to what we do and how we do it.

The attention you pay to the way you move and the variations of these movements you experience in the Feldenkrais Method® allow you to refine your body perception and move with more fluidity, flexibility and pleasure. Thus, your range of action expands. Unnecessary effort and its resulting discomfort decrease, as well as tension and pain. Body organization becomes clearer and the intelligence of movement develops.
